Suggestions on obtaining the data for the input parameters
- Contact the local weather station to obtain, the annual average of Temperature, Relative humidity and Rain (or precipitation)
- For the pollution data if it is rural area without the pollution from the traffic or industrial settlements a value less than 5 mg/m2.day can be used for the SO2 and Cl concentration. In urban and industrial locations, one may contact the municipality or state federal environmental federal agencies to ask for such data. However, unlike the weather parameters SO2 and Cl content in the air are not always monitored in all locations.
- Some weather information my be found on the Internet. For example, http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/wdcamet.html
for US and worldwide; http://www.msc-smc.ec.gc.ca/climate/index_e.cfm
for Canada; similar sites should exists for other countries.
- If you are only interested in a very rough number, you may look at examples
listed in the Examples and estimate the values of
the weather parameters. The value so calculated may contain large error because
it is calculated based on the parameters of little certainty.
